As a native to the great Northwest, I understand why so many people are passionate about living here. I grew up in a home my dad built in Gig Harbor, and today my wife, two kids and I live just about a mile from that house in a home and neighborhood that we love. As a young boy, I had an entrepreneurial spirit that began with me mowing lawns and selling hot dogs at the Daffodil Festival to eventually being the manager of a clothing store by the time I was a senior in high school. Soon, I started my own store and for nine years I worked to grow my business until selling it in 1993. It was then that I began my real estate career, bringing my years of experience as a businessman and investor to benefit my real estate clients.
Since starting my real estate career in 1993, I have participated in over 1,300 successful real estate moves. Recognizing it can be a stressful time when buying a home, I balance the experience for my client with an abundance of communication. Windermere was my choice in 1993 and remains so today because of the company’s client-centric values that align with mine. One of the defining strengths of Windermere is their market tools which focus on the partnership between the client and the agent they have hired. My perspective of the market offers my clients a predictable experience. I can manage their expectations by drawing on my experience and guiding them through the process. I am not selling anything, rather counseling them through the use of data and providing context for my client to see how they fit into the market as a seller or buyer.
My goal is always to provide real information and obtain real results, completely focused on what is best for my client.
I accept the responsibility of serving you any way I can to ensure the sale of your home, for the most money, in the least amount of time and with the least amount of hassle. If I have not performed to your satisfaction, I will cancel the agreement.
Alex Munoz was born and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington where he has spent his whole life enjoying the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from Gig Harbor High School and received his associate’s degree from Pierce College, where he played baseball for two years. Graduating college in 2011 he saw an opportunity in a depressed economy to learn a profession he knew would be rewarding.
His family has bought, built, and sold real estate since he was a child. Growing up on an excavator with his dad clearing the lot or with his mom who was designing the house you can say; real estate is in his blood. Alex completed his real estate licensing and started working for Windermere Real Estate at the age of twenty-one.
In 2011 the market was barely afloat and people were still recovering from one of the worst recessions to ever hit this country, but it was a time of learning and a time of opportunity. He has seen the market pendulum swing from left to right and has never taken for granted the chance to learn and to become an expert.
He takes pride in being transparent and a professional, while providing solutions and wisdom during the process of buying, selling, or investing in residential real estate. Through the years he has developed and maintained a motivated passion for the industry and has created ever lasting relationships with his associates and clientele.

Although he loves the sciences, he ultimately decided that he wanted a career where he could spend time with and meet new people. Windermere Professional Partners offered this opportunity, and he’s happy to join the leading brand in real estate in part due to our focus on relationships and our “people over sales” mentality. He also greatly appreciates the excellent tools we offer our brokers.
Austin lived briefly in Olympia, but moved back to Tacoma where he felt home was. He grew up in Yakima, and after high school he attended UPS in Tacoma where he played collegiate football for 4 years. He loves sports, and also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
